If you are looking for a blog that is going to impart wisdom about the importance of being a wife and mother. Showing you ways to organize your home. Giving you great decorating tips to make your home a "home". Give you the parenting advice you seek after your toddler just got done with their 3rd tantrum of the day(and it's only 10 am). Well, you aren't going to find that here! Truth is I struggle with organization, I just don't have an eye for it. I admire Martha stewart but I am nothing like her. Tantrums...well if you find the cure let me know, My 6 year old still throws them.
The thing about motherhood is we are all in the same boat. Parenting is a challenge for everyone whether they admit it or not. No one truly knows what they are doing we are just hoping to get it right most of the time. What works for one family doesn't work for every family. The crazier part is what works for one of my children does not work for all of my children. I have 3 and they are all different in so many ways. It makes discipline tricky because what works for one makes no impact on the other. Being a parent is not a job you can learn by reading a book or taking classes. It is a job that requires nothing but experience!
So my hope for this blog is to share the little bits of wisdom I have learned through my almost 11 years of motherhood. It sure is not what I thought it would be like when I first started out. I will never claim to be perfect because I make mistakes...Almost daily! I have learned from at least half of my mistakes. The most important thing I have learned on this journey is to never judge the way someone else parents. We all have different strengths and weaknesses. Just as your weakness may be someone else's strength. Your Strength may be someone else's weakness. Instead of using this information against one another. Let's use it to help one another!
